Job Description
Law Costs Draftsman
Manchester
£25,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Permanent
Law costs draftsman required for established Manchester Law Firm.
The principal accountabilities for this role are:
o Preparation of Bills of Costs, primarily for road traffic accident and personal injury claims, but also commercial dispute cases
o Preparation of Points of Dispute and replies
o Attending assessment hearings
o Mediating settlements
o Drafting Quantum arguments
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual .
The successful candidate will possess strong I.T. and communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team. A member of the Association of Law Cost Draftsmen would be preferable, though this is not an essential requirement for someone with exposure to a good quality work and with a varied of experience. Experience of attending court and proven negotiation skills are also desirable.
